Hey babes! I am back and today I’ve teamed up with Ferrero to share a really yummy, easy recipe with you all. I absolutely love the new and improved recipe for Baby Ruth® with dry roasted peanuts, rich caramel and smooth nougat. So I decided that Baby Ruth® Fun Size bars needed to be the main ingredient for these cookies. I put together a recipe and added Baby Ruth bars into the cookies. Let me tell you how delicious they were. With every bite, the cookies melt in your mouth. You can purchase Baby Ruth Fun Size bars at your local CVS and save $.75 on one Baby Ruth Fun Size or Mini Bag (10 oz. or larger) with this coupon!
I wanted to make a recipe that was easy and delicious because the girls’ first birthday. These were definetly a hit and I wanted to share the recipe with you guys. If you have an upcoming party to go to or you’re hosting, these are so easy and so delicious your guests will love them!
What you will need to make the cookies:
. 2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
. 1 teaspoon baking powder
. 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
. 1 stick of butter (room temperature)
. 2 cups light brown sugar
. 2 large eggs
. 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
. 4 Baby Ruth Fun Size bars
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Next, take a hand held mixer or a stand mixer, whatever you have and beat the butter and sugar on medium-high speed until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes). Then add the eggs and beat until blended. Add the vanilla and beat until blended.
Turn the mixer off and add the flour mixture into the bowl. Mix on medium just until the flour is mixed in. Then turn the mixer on high for a few seconds to pull the dough together, it will be chunky.
I added in four Baby Ruth® Fun Size bars in a separate bowl and microwaved them for about 5 seconds. Once they were a little melted I added them to the mixture and blended it for about a minute longer.
You’ll need a tray and parchment paper or you can use a silicone sheet if you have. With a tablespoon, add a spoonful of the dough onto the tray. Bake until lightly browned on the top, about 10-11 minutes. Cool them off on the pan for about 1 minute and then transfer the cookies to cool completely. Repeat with the remaining dough.
I hope you try them out for your next party! 🙂 They are super easy to make and a great crowd pleaser.
Thank you for stopping by! 🙂
