Hey babes! Our babies shower was last weekend and I’m still so overwhelmed by how amazing everything turned out. I keep looking at the photos and have the biggest smile on my face. Thank you to everyone that came out to shower and bless our baby girls. We are beyond grateful for each and every one of you. I am so sad I didn’t get photos with everyone but I did add all the ones I got down below.
I wanted to share all the details of the location of the shower and who all participated. I had an amazing team and such incredible talented women that made this day happen so perfectly!
A few of my sisters flew out to celebrate the babies. My mom and a few of my other sisters weren’t able to make it out but they were there in spirit. I am so grateful to have had at least some of my family to be there for this special day because if I didn’t, I would for cry for sure. Haha!
I started planning my shower about 4 months ago because I don’t like last minute stress. My sister in law Olga took care of all the games, the cake and dessert table. My mother in law did took care of the food. We went with Mediterranean style food with steak, shrimp and chicken kabobs. We had rice, hummus, garlic dip, babaganoush and pita bread. We also had a few different salads. We ordered the dip, hummus, and bread from a local restaurant here is Denver called Marrakech Caffe and Grill . If you haven’t tried this place in general and live in Denver, you’re missing out.
Party planner: I worked with Natashafrom Sugar Willow Events I can’t say enough amazing things about this women, we met for coffee before any planning started to she if she could help in any way and I immediately loved her. I loved how organized she was and so on top of everything, I showed her ideas I wanted and the colors I wanted to go with from A to Z and she literally went above and beyond to help find all the vendors from florist to decor to tables, chairs. Literally everything! She stayed the whole shower to help clean up and make sure I didn’t need anything. She was so on top of it and that’s what I loved about her. She does a ton of weddings so if your looking for a planner to help you on your special day, LOOK NO FURTHER because I am not kidding when I say she’s amazing! Thank you for all that you did to make this day so special for us! ?
Venue: Natasha found thee perfect venue to host the shower and we immodestly fell in love with the space. We had the shower FootHills Art Center. I worked with Maura and she was amazing and so helpful via email. We ended up checking out the place in person and absolutely loved it. They also host lots of weddings in their beautiful outside area. I also loved the inside. It’s so romantic, vintage and white. Need I say more? They are located in Golden and we rented the space from 5:30pm-8pm. They have a full kitchen and a place where I could get ready, which made it so convenient. They also had staff on site to help with anything we needed. They were so lovely and so helpful. We had around 60 people but the spaced could definitely fit more. I loved how spacious the space was and that everything is so green and romantic. Definitely would recommend this space for any party you have coming up. Thank you for being on top of things and having an incredible space for us to celebrate and welcome our girls. ?
Decor rentals: For all the decor, Natasha recommended Hazel Grove Rentals . I absolutely fell in love with their decor. Since I wanted a boho and romantic, they had the most perfect decor. Michael’Ann was so sweet and so easy to work with. They came with a team to help put everything together and make every corner perfect. Everything went so smooth I almost cried seeing it all come together. They have many different options to choose from and sent over pictures of every corner of their vision before agreeing to each setup. It was so nice to visualize it before it all came together. Thank you for making my decor dreams come true and for being so sweet and on top of things. ?
Tables, chairs and rugs: We worked with Colorado Party Rentals . I love the farm table and chair style we chose. We rented 5 tables total in case people didn’t want to sit on the floor. They dropped everything off and we just placed them to our liking. They have many options to choose for rentals and I love that they had rugs for rent as well. The rugs turned out so perfect for the theme I chose. Thank you for being so easy to rent from! ?
Florist: Honeycomb & CO was an immediate from the moment I laid eyes on their Instagram page. Jenna was literally the sweetest person on the planet. They have a cute little shop in Denver with so may flowers to choose from. We met and discussed the colors and what type of flowers I was looking for. It was so simple and felt like she knew what I wanted the moment I walked into her shop. I even ordered some pampas for the girls room because they have so many beautiful flowers to choose from. I will be working with them in the future for all things flowers because they’re amazing. Thank you for making my floral dreams come true!
I am still amazed with how everything turned out. So thankful for amazing people who are so talented in what they do.
