Are you a camper? I totally am but if you aren’t, then keep on reading! I have teamed up with Glamping Hub and Surge and I had the pleasure of staying at the Cedar Ridge in Carbondale, CO. Instead of camping, which I know many people aren’t fond of, you would totally love Glamping. Glamping is basically glamorous camping and it’s pretty fabulous I’d have to say! We stayed two nights in a comfortable Yurt, aka our glamorous tent. We fell in love with the ranch and how peaceful it was! Living in the city can be a bit stressful at times, so it was so refreshing to get away from the daily grind and simply relax! We did not have any service, unless we walked to the barn for wifi {only for emergencies} or if we went into town to grab a bite to eat, which is only a 20 min drive. We decided not to bring any food to grill because I cook everyday so this made the entire trip relaxing while trying out new restaurants! We not only fell in love with Cedar Ridge but also fell in love with all the organic, farm fresh foods! Surge was blown away by the quality of everything. He’s not a big meat eater and loved how everything tasted! PS: I did bring milk for my coffee and a bottle of wine!
Places we ate: We ate at a pizza joint called White House Pizza and OMG it was to die for! Surge and I shared a salad and had the combination pizza with lots of sausage and veggies. For breakfast we ate at the Silo and I am not even kidding you their bread, eggs and bacon were to die for! Surge ordered two plates and we even came back the next morning because it was that good! It’s crazy to notice a difference in organic fresh eggs. I don’t think I can go back to store bought eggs lol! We also tried another place called Carbondale Beer Works . Surge loves trying new beer and this place had a large selection of them. We also brought some back home with us because they don’t have this type of fresh beer anywhere close to us. It was actually really good, even though I am more of a wine kinda girl. {once in a while} We also had a few appetizers there and a really tasty fresh kale salad!

I loved our little getaway and already want to go back! Maybe we can make a trip out when it’s snowing next year. The ranch also has a few activities to do throughout the day. You can rent bikes and go out for a ride or even go on a beautiful hike. We decided to hike and had a great time getting lost. I had to take many breaks cause I was breathing so hard hahaha! It was intense and hot! We ended our trip by going to the Hot Springs and that was so nice! I have a little clip of our trip and the Yurt we stayed at, so check it out ||HERE|| Thank you for reading!!xoxo, Alena Gidenko
