Hi lovelies, I am finally here to share our bedroom update! Iv’e teamed up with Anewall.com. They have the most amazing wallpapers from fun prints to fun colors. I was so excited for this fun project and share it with you all. Some of you had some questions on how it was installed and if it was permanent, etc.
We sold our previous bed and night stands and purchased all white furniture. I wanted a clean, airy fresh look to our room. We decided to do a fun wallpaper to add a fun pop to the room. I went with this elegant floral print because it was very settle and elegant with a vintage twist.
Many of you asked if this was a permanent option to wallpaper and it’s not. It’s a temporary decor as we live in an apartment and we didn’t want to create any damage to the walls when we do move out. Of course I asked our apartment management beforehand before we attempted this project and they were super cool with it. Anewall.com does have a couple of different options when it comes to the wallpaper. They have the permanent option, which I would totally recommend if it was your house. If your renting like us, you could go with the option we chose which is the semi-permanent. It’s basically a sticker. Our wall is textured so it started peeling in the corners. As you can see in the photos, we bought flat pins and put them all around the corners and it actually made it look really cool like it was supposed to be there. It kind of looks like studs. We absolutely love the way it turned out!
How to install the wallpaper you ask? It’s super simple but will require two people. My husband and I installed it and it took some team work for sure, but we did it. He is super anal when it comes to things being straight so we did have some hiccups with him freaking out that it wasn’t straight. We both laughed because that’s just who he is. Haha!
We also updated our dresser. We had a teal one and moved it into the living room. It is currently being used as a tv stand and it looks really fun. It brings out the blues in our rug, which I love. I went with a mirrored dresser for the bedroom with pops of gold to bring out the night stands. I love this dresser so much and I feel like it completes the room!
Isn’t the hat art on the wall so cool? I need some space for my hats and decided to hang them up with some pins. I love the pops of colors and how it makes the space look complete. It’s kind of like a cool decoration!
Now to the shoe rack. I am always getting questions on where I got them from. Surge actually made them for me last year. It took him 2 weeks but he did such an amazing job! It’s such a neat statement piece in our bedroom and even though we live in a apartment, I will always have space for my shoes. Haha!
