Fall is here? Wait WHAT!? Well, it did feel like Fall yesterday but it’s supposed to be warm again this week. That being said, I will soak up the Summer weather and just wait for the cardigans to come out and play when ready. I’m not going to lie, but every time I walk into a store it’s like Thanksgiving and Fall decor threw up. Lol It makes me happy but I also know that Winter is closer than I thought, so ya. ? Haha!
SHOP MY LOOK
Fall I love you and your amazing colors. Green is trending this Fall and I feel like yellow is also. This particular onsie is to DIE for! First off, it’s so affordable. Second, it comes in a black and a burgundy color. Say what’? Yup, so you should own it not because it’s the cutest thing you’ve ever seen but also because it’s unique and funky. Oh and trust me, you will get stopped every 5 minutes by people asking where it’s from! Lol
I have been stocking up on denim and flare-high waisted denim is my absolute favorite in the Fall because there isn’t much to styling them. I always style them with a fitted top, off the shoulder crop sweater or anything that’s not too loose. It looks amazing! These jeans make a statement and I do have them in a lighter color as well for Spring because, why not? lol
Here are a few things to stay away from when styling these flare-high waisted jeans. I feel lengthier tops that you can’t tuck in, unless it’s a crop top, don’t go too well with this jean style. You don’t want any tops that are baggy and not fitted because it may make you look bigger then you are. Another thing you shouldn’t style these jeans with are flats. Especially if your short you always want to wear a heel. It doesn’t have to be anything crazy, just something that gives you a little extra height.
Accessories? Yes, hats are a must for the Fall. I feel like hats complete any outfit and if you’re having a bad hair day it helps as well. I added a polka dot scarf and tied it on the bag because I wanted a fun print. I feel like it made my Fall look complete.
So what will your next denim purchase be? If it’s flare, do it because they are so fun!
Life update: What have Surge and I been up to lately? Honestly, every free moment we have we go to the house and get stuff done. On Labor day we spent the afternoon painting the patio. We wanted to paint the front door blue, but didn’t get a chance to finish that. We will probably work on it this weekend. Anyway, here’s an update on the meeting we went to. We thought it would take 6 months to get approved for the license/paper work in order for us to open our home. It actually will only take about a week for that to process and for the City to come in and give us the ok to open. We are so excited for this news which means we could possibly open in like 2 weeks! Surge and I are trying to learn all the info we need to get familiar with and hopefully have an open date soon. I am giving it 2 months to be safe. but it may be sooner than that! I am waiting on a few paintings to come in and then I’ll do a whole house update on the Assisted Living. I’ll talks about why we want to open it, what it means to us, and how awesome Gods timing is! So stay tuned lovelies! Oh and also, a few of you have been messaging me about our apartment decor and when my post will be up for that. I will have it up as soon as I get my dining room rug. I am hoping 2 weeks max.
Thank you for being patient and I adore you guys!
xoxo, Alena Gidenko
