Hola babes! This trip to Cabo felt like Paradise! As some of you know, Christine and I took a girls trip to Cabo last week. We figured instead of flying to either my town or hers we could meet in Cabo and celebrate my 27th birthday during our stay. It was the best decision we ever made! We stayed at One and Only Palmilla for four nights. The best part of our travel was that the flight was only two hours for me and an hour in a half for Christine, so we weren’t jet lagged at all once we had arrived.
I still can’t stop raving about One and Only Palmilla! When we drove in, the staff was already waving and welcoming us! I’m not even kidding, I almost started crying! I love seeing people happy and enjoying their job while making others happy! Everyone we came across at the resort was so kind and happy to see us. It was a pleasure to arrive to this atmosphere and during our entire stay at One and Only Palmilla!
The minute we had arrived, I felt at home and so welcomed! We were treated to the most most amazing homemade mango/coconut popsicles. The flavor in each bite was like eating a fresh piece of fruit. I almost asked for another because they we’re that good! The staff already knew our names and immediately took our bags and never let us carry anything. I have never received such amazing service. I felt like a princess in a beautifuI palace. It was unreal to experience!
The staff took us around the resort and showed us every corner. Everywhere we went was so breathtaking! Here are a few photos of the beautiful views. If we stayed for a few days longer, I would probably had over a thousand photos of the beautiful resort. Everything is so unique making it a peaceful environment.
There is a private pool for adults and one for kids. They were both amazing with a view overlooking the stunning beach! I loved that it was so quiet and not packed like most other resorts.
There is so much to do there during the stay! Christine and I had a spa day one of the days there. They also have a huge gym with all sorts of classes for working out. There is a daycare there as well in case you wanted to bring your little ones making it so convenient!
There is a Chapel on site in case you wanted to be alone to pray or worship if you wanted.
Christine and I had pedicures at the Spa on site. This wasn’t your typical pedicure experience like at home, it took 3 hours! They made my nails turn from yellow to shiny and back to normal. We felt spoiled and my feet felt so amazing! I have never experienced such an amazing pedicure in my entire life!
I would rather be on the beach right now! Denver, Colorado doesn’t have a beach near by so I took advantage of every moment on the beach. Even though the pools there are amazing, the Cabanas on the beach were my absolute favorite! Christine and I fell asleep listening to the waves after two margaritas and loads of guacamole and chips. I woke up a couple of times thinking this must be what heaven is like!
When we walked into our room, I was blown away by the size of it! I’m not even kidding it was bigger than my entire apartment! The shower/bath was seriously a dream and outside our window in the shower was a beach view! Christine and I were so excited to come back from swimming and each take showers because it literally was such a beautiful view! The size of the shower and the beautiful beach view while showering is every girls dream, well mine at least. They have special handmade shower gel, hand soap and lotion that was changed every single day. It smelled like heaven in a bottle and I loved how unique the scent was. The product was so amazing in quality. I wish they sold this stuff somewhere because I need it in my life. The handmade products made the experience that much more amazing!
PLACES WE ATE AT:
We arrived on Monday and ate at Seared for dinner. It’s a steak house right on the resort. Christine and I started off with coconut margaritas and for an appetizer we had the most mouth watering Pizza. If you are planning on staying at this resort, be sure to ask for that pizza. Trust me, it’s #1 and they will know what you are talking about. We had tuna and steak for our main course and shared both meals. Guys, both of these dishes were so mouth watering and delicious! The steak was to DIE FOR! We ended our dinner with a chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream dessert. You know the saying party in your mouth? Yup, this was absolutely it! They surprised me with my blog logo written on the plate and macaroons. THE BEST SURPRISE EVER!!!
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we ate at the same cafe every morning called Breeze. We enjoyed lattes, turkey bacon and hash browns. Everything was so delicious and filling. Oh and we always had a bowl of delicious fresh fruit.
On Tuesday for lunch we ate Agua by Larbi. We had the most AMAZING chips and guacamole! The avocado and tomatoes were so fresh and every bite was worth all the guacamole we ate! We of course had more coconut margaritas and for lunch I had the fish tacos and Christine had the steak fajitas. Everything was so delicious! I am not sure how much we ate, but all I can say is I have never felt so full after every meal in my life! It was that good!
Tuesday for dinner we had sushi at Suviche. I love sushi so we ordered 4 rolls. We ordered the Salmon roll and the tuna roll. I believe we reordered the same rolls twice because they were that amazing! For an appetizer, we had the the most amazing ceviche. It was so full of flavor making you come back for more because you can taste every flavor in your mouth! For dessert we had the mochi ice cream. I am not a dessert kinda girl but I swear every dessert we ate was to DIE FOR!
Wednesday for breakfast we ate at the same spot called Breeze.
Wednesday for lunch we had lunch on the beach. We ordered tuna ceviche, chips and guacamole and coconut margaritas! It was love all over again!
Wednesday for dinner we had ate at Agua by Larbi. We started off with warm bread and hummus. They melt in your mouth with each bite I had to stop after two pieces because I wanted to save room for the Pasta and steak we ordered. Guys, I can’t rave enough about everything we ate! I am not even kidding everything was AMAZING!
Thursday breakfast was At the Breeze.
The rest of Thursday we left the resort and I will talk more about that on Wednesday’s post! I will be sharing things we did and what we saw with Christine. I’ll also be posting how to plan the most amazing girls trip while staying at One and Only Palmilla. Stay tuned for that with a full blog post of our trip on Friday!
I did get questions on what my favorite part about this trip was while staying at this resort. Well, the coconut margaritas, the food and pretty much everything! The Staff was beyond amazing and the list can go on! I cannot say enough amazing things about this resort and cannot wait to come back this time with my husband!!!
Thank you for reading darlings!
