Hello again sweet peas! It’s finally the weekend, well for me at least. ? How is your week babes? Mine has been pretty good. I am finally caught up with a few things and I am ready for this weekend. Surge is taking the day off tomorrow and I am so excited that I just can’t hide it. ❤️ It’s also my Birthday weekend, so I can’t wait to spend some time with my love bug and a few friends. We have some dinner plans and the baseball game Sunday! WooHoo!
This little neon number is too cute! I love the ruffles and of course the neon color. Summer is my favorite time of the year. I feel like neon colors are so perfect for this season and I catch myself wearing them often. This dress is sold out and I am so sad. I did find a similar dress that I also fell in love with and I linked it above. I styled this ruffled dress with my little red bow flats and my watermelon clutch. Now I want a pool and a ton of fruit. ?
I have been battling some things with a friendship lately. When you get hurt time after time, the only thing left to do is give up. It’s been a real struggle with my feelings and I question why I should help this individual anyway? The actions just keep repeating themselves and it hurts. I feel like this week God has really been showing His love for me. It’s endless and never stops! So why should I stop loving my friend? I need to keep on loving the way Jesus does. He was spit upon, bruised, beaten for us and through His grace we are made new again. So I am praying that Jesus pours more love into my heart no matter what gets thrown at me. I want to do the best I can in seeing the individual on their level. Maybe the hurt they have been giving out is due to something they have been dealing with? When I look at it this way, it helps to love a little more. You never know the situation someone is in and sometimes their actions aren’t meant to hurt. Sometimes they just do not know how else to deal with the pain so they react with how they’ve been treated. I know that God has His timing and through our loving actions, He does miracles. I felt I needed to share this with you. If you struggle with something similar, don’t stop loving and keep on praying! God will breakthrough! ❤️ I hope this helps you in some way. Thank you all for reading! Love you guys!
Also, I wanted to share a really yummy and simple recipe I made the other day for dinner. I have been wanting something other than a salad and came up with this. Enjoy babes!
