Good morning and happy Monday darlings! My friend Christine and I arrived in Palm Springs last night and staying here until Tuesday. We are staying at The Saguaro Palm Springs and we’re so excited!! ? I have been wanting to stay here for the longest time, and now I’m here! I cant wait to just hangout and relax.
This weekend I attended the Create and Cultivate conference and it was such a fun day filled with so much awesome information! I highly recommend you attend this conference in the future if you are interested in learning about marketing or if you are a blogger. It’s a great opportunity to meet inspiring women who have succeeded greatly in the areas you might be working in. Through hearing many of the stories women shared, I learned a few useful things while getting to meet some amazing women. Jessica Alba was one of the inspiring women I had the privilege of meeting. Seeing her on the stage and hearing her story really inspired me to never give up my passion. We need to remind ourselves that no matter the bumps we may face down the road, never give up on that dream or passion you have been working so hard to achieve.
Little black dress! I actually never owned a black dress. haha! Yes, very sad! I finally decided to get this one and I am so glad I did. I am in love with the sleeve detailing and overall, the way it fit. I am sharing with you a couple of ways to style the dress both comfy and dressy. Here is how I styled it for a more relaxed look. I added a pair of converse I had recently did a DIY on. I can’t get over how awesome they turned out! Check the DIY ||here|| I also love to dress-up and sometimes feel like it’s a bit more difficult to constantly be wearing heels, so these shoes were the perfect touch to the dress. I love all the fun sparkle and the way the studs perfected the look.
For a more dressier look, I wore my comfy black heels and added a collar I recently made out of a used dress shirt. I found a dress shirt I had for a while and cut it out, leaving the color to make a simple. Hobby Lobby had a few cute jewels I purchased, so I hot glued them on the shoes and for the collar. Didn’t it turn out so great!? I’m loving how it changed the entire look of the same simple dress. DIY’s are so fun, I suggest you start one soon! They are not only fun, but have a way of adding so much cuteness to any outfit. ? Thank you all for reading! Now I am off for a pool day with my girl! Love you!
xoxo, Alena Gidenko
