HEY!!! Happy Monday. Boy, yesterdays church service was AMAZING! I have been thinking about it all day yesterday. The pastor was talking about how words have a lot of meaning and weight to them. It is so true and got me thinking. People sometimes don’t understand that even insignificant words in their eyes might have a huge effect on someones life. I’ve always straggled with loving myself and just loving the way God made me in His image. I know you probably can’t see it because I have changed so much over the years since being married to my hubby. He has been a solid rock in my life, always encouraging me and telling me I am beautiful even though at first I wouldn’t believe it and I constantly compared myself to other girls and always saying negative things about myself. I struggled with that as a kid. I feel like having 7 kids for my parents made it hard to find the time for individual encouragement. My dad passed away when I was 12 so my mom had to hold the family together and take care of all of us. That made it hard for her to be there for everyone individually so sometimes you might have felt like you were left out. I am not blaming her I just feel like we grew up way to fast. So that being said it was kind of hard for me to love myself without too many loving and encouraging words as a child. After being married for three years and having my amazing husband by my side and more importantly God and after praying about this constantly, God has healed me. I am one changed women and I believe that God thinks I am the most beautiful in His eyes and He thinks the same about you. So don’t listen to anyone’s negative words but instead pray to God and ask for healing and help with any area of your life that you are struggling with. God knows even before you ask and He will heal and restore you. YOU are beautiful, YOU are more stunning then you can ever imagine, YOU are smart, YOU are loved and YOU are the most perfect human being in Jesus’s eyes. I was driving home from church and those words kept rolling over and over again in my mind and I know God put them there for a reason. So I wanted to share them with you. I hope this helps and just know prayer is the answer to everything. ?
Now back to the post. ? How cute is this bag? It totally reminds me of the Flintstones, haha. Its so bright. LOVE it. I decided to of course add more prints. I am obsessed with this top and I love the side cuts, its perfect for fall. I styled it a summer way because it still super warm. I wore black shorts and some fun cheetah heels. This look is perfect for date night. My hubby would not stop complimenting me, he loved the top so much. I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you for stopping by. You guys rock.
Lots of love, Alena Gidenko
