Happy Saturday! So Christine Bennet from www.moxieafashionblog.com and I did a Social Media fast yesterday. I wanted to share my experience with you guys and let you know that it was pretty amazing. My hubby and I got up early, I made us breakfast and we read the word. While he went to work I went to the gym, ran some errands, did some cleaning and bit of cooking. After that I went into my bedroom and talked to God, told him how I felt and prayed for my husband and family. I prayed about our future plans and gave it all to Him. Often in life we make plans for the future, jobs, marriage, kids but does it ever end the way you want? Sometimes, but not always. I struggle with that fact a lot, I just need to step back and give it all to our Heavenly Father. In the end He is the only one who can give us anything we pray for. I love this verse I read.
Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. Mathew 7:7.
Every time I read that verse it gives me chills knowing we have an amazing God that has our back and watches over us daily and we take that for granted sometimes. When you are having struggles in your life and it doesn’t fall into place, get on your knees and pray, or pray on your way to work, trust me things will change in a good direction. God will never leave us nor will He ever forsake us. Take a leap of faith and tell God your plans and struggles, your life will be changed when you give it all to the one who is worthy of all your praise. This was put on my heart and I hoped it helped and gave you hope. If you need someone to talk to about faith or even fashion please email me at modaprints@yahoo.com I would love to hear from you. Have a beautiful day.
