Happy Tuesday! Today’s post is very special to my husband and I, its our 2 year Anniversary and I cant believe how time fly’s by. We met through one of his best friends a few years ago on New Years, they drove down to California for the weekend and we all hung out New Years night. Honestly the first time we met it was a bit awkward and I did not think this would go anywhere. The next morning we all had some breakfast at a local diner. We all laughed and had a great time and after finishing up I was in a hurry to go to work so I said my goodbyes and ran out the door. He tells me he tried to run after me to get my number but I really don’t think so because back then I was a slow runner haha. Anyways, two days later he book faces me aka (FaceBook) telling me he had so much fun and would like to have number so he can call me sometime. So I gave him my number and couple days later I get a call from him. It was such a weird conversation lol, we were both very shy and awkward. He started texting me a few days later and we texted for a while until he made that second phone call, and after that we hit it off. It was a long distance relationship and it was very hard, we saw each other once a month. The following year he bought me a ticket to fly out for New Years, when I arrived in Denver I was so exhausted from starting work at 4am that day. I was ready to just watch a movie and cuddle up but he insisted to take me to the mountains and build a snow man, which I thought it was pretty weird. So we did, but when we got their I had no gloves so we just walked instead. We took a walk on this beautiful trail then stopped to see the beautiful views, while standing there we got on the subject of marriage and I told him laughing you will never propose.  As soon as I said that he gets on one knee and asks me to marry him at first I thought he was joking so I got a little sad, then he pulls out this gorgeous ring and asks me again I started jumping and of course, said yes. Seriously best decision I have ever made in my life is to marry this guy. We got married on Oct 7th 2012 and marriage is not easy and has its ups and downs but I would not trade it for anything else. I don’t mean to brag but this amazing husband of mine is so caring and loving. He massages my feet to this day almost every night, every morning he makes me coffee (if I am up), warms my car up when its freezing outside, he literally treats me like a princess and I am so blessed and so lucky God saved this man for me. I have prayed for a godly, loving, caring man like him and he is finally mine. I thank God everyday for this miracle of mine and always wonder how did I get so blessed? I know there are a lot of young girls out there. If you are one of them reading this, do not just choose some guy that treats you horrible because you don’t think you can do any better. Trust me sister pray about it, tell God and give it all to Him. He will send you a man of your dreams, someone that loves you and will do anything for you. Most importantly a godly man, someone that is on the same page as you because a couple that prays together stays together. I hope you enjoyed this fun photo session that Gina from www.GaleRisaBlog.com shot for us, I love love love this shoot and I hope you did as well. See you soon.
